When I was eleven years old, I aimed a silver cap gun at a cop car driving by. The car screeched to a halt and the cop pointed a finger gun at me. He joked with me instead of killing me because I’m white. I wrote a blog post about white supremacy and how it weaves its way through our lives, as well as a few resources as a jumping off point to learn about systemic racism and white privilege and power and how to use it to join the fight.
