View this post on Instagram The job is not done! There are many petitions that haven’t met their goal yet. Signing a petition will take no longer than it takes you to figure out a caption for a selfie! I urge each and everyone of you to sign one or all. Your voice, your signature, & your donations matter more than ever. There are cases that need to be reopened, justice to be served, and reform to take place! If you want to sign these petitions use the link below to do so! #blacklivesmatter #petitions #saytheirnames (I did not create this list myself) https://pendingpetition.carrd.co A post shared by missy (@dream.stylz) on Jun 7, 2020 at 12:00pm PDT

View this post on Instagram We need everyone to take action by signing the pledge and sharing today. #DefundThePolice Black communities are living in persistent fear of being killed by state authorities like police, immigration agents or even white vigilantes who are emboldened by state actors. According to the Urban Institute, in 1977, state and local governments spent $60 billion on police and corrections. In 2017, they spent $194 billion. A 220 percent increase. Despite continued profiling, harassment, terror and killing of Black communities, local and federal decision-makers continue to invest in the police, which leaves Black people vulnerable and our communities no safer. Where could that money go? It could go towards building healthy communities, to the health of our elders and children,to neighborhood infrastructure, to education, to childcare, to support a vibrant Black future. The possibilities are endless. We join in solidarity with the freedom fighters, change-makers, and values aligned influencers in Minneapolis, Louisville, and across the United States calling for the end to police terror. #defendblacklife A post shared by Movement For Black Lives (@mvmnt4blklives) on Jun 4, 2020 at 5:16am PDT

View this post on Instagram Y’all are not going hard enough for her and it’s PISSING me off!! What’s the excuse? It wasn’t filmed? . Don’t just love black women on the Internet 🥱did you sign the petition, damn!? . . we’re dying too and people forget us 😪#sayhername #breonnataylor #wedeservejustice #georgefloyd . Breonna Taylor was an award-winning EMT and model citizen. She loved her family and community. She worked at two hospitals as an essential worker during the pandemic. One month ago, a division of the Louisville Police Department performed an illegal, unannounced drug raid on her home. Not a single officer announced themselves before ramming down her door and firing 22 shots, shooting Breonna 8 times, killing her. Not only were the police at the WRONG HOUSE, but the man they were looking for had already been arrested earlier that day. A post shared by N💕👑 (@_natking18) on Jun 3, 2020 at 5:27pm PDT
